William and Selena Owens

William and Selena Owens are Christian political activists, authors and speakers. They became involved in politics before the 2008 elections, and used their venue of publishing to write, publish, and distribute the following books, Obama: Why Black America Should Have Doubts, and, The Power Within a Conservative Woman - Engaging America for God, Family and Country.

The Owens’ joined the Tea Party Express from the first tour from Sacramento to Washington, DC,  ending on the 9/12 March on DC, touring with the Express by car. They have since joined the Tea Party Express family by bus for each tour thereafter. and are committed to the Tea Party movement because of its stance regarding the citizen’s concerns of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and transparency in government, and free markets.

William Owens is a frequent radio guest on shows across the country, and has been interviewed regarding his stance against the Obama administration, and for his insights as a conservative Black American. Selena Owens was featured on Fox and Friends on September 12, 2009, regarding the tea party movement and its affect upon our government. 

The Owens’ have written a combined eleven books, ranging from spiritual growth and maturity, family, and politics (http://www.itouchublishers.com). They are also the publishers of the Tea Party Express Commemorative Journal, which chronicles the tours through captivating photographs and inspiring articles.

William and Selena are the proud parents of four young adults ages 18, 20, 22 and 24.
