David Saucedo
My name is David Saucedo; my hip hop stage name is Polatik. I'm 26 years old, and I've lived in Waco, Texas most of my life. I've been married for a little over two years to my wife, Michelle, and I am the father of a beautiful twenty-two-month-old daughter named Lianna Marie Saucedo. My wife and I are expecting another member to the family sometime in August of this year.
I grew up in low income communities in and around Central Texas. With drugs and alcohol a regular part of my upbringing, it's no wonder I grew into an adult that lived a short, but disgraceful, life of crime. After three years in prison, I re-entered society in January of 2007 with a determination and the grace of God to change my life, the lives around me, and my community. I hold fast to the belief that grassroots community leaders are the future of America’s strength and progress.

As a member of the Waco Tea Party Leadership Council, I participate in holding our elected officials accountable on the local and national level. Three goals I have as an American are: revolutionizing American education, revolutionizing city management, and helping to see a nationwide process of vetting that would prevent candidates who would undermine the United States Constitution from being elected into any public office.

I look forward to learning, as we well as working and living with like-minded Americans in pursuit of the happiness the Founders spoke so highly of. I pray that my music is not only enjoyed but also used to motivate young and old Americans alike to fight to preserve our constitutional rights. To this I dedicate my life, any fortunes I may gain, and my sacred honor.
